Trigo Mountain (South) Wilderness Area

Trigo Mountain Wilderness Area encompasses 14,138 acres of federally protected backcountry in Arizona, managed by the Bureau of Land Management. The area is open to non-motorized recreation only—hiking, backpacking, and solitude-seeking are the primary activities in this primitive landscape where no roads, motors, or mechanized travel are permitted.
