Ruby Mountains Wilderness

Ruby Mountains Wilderness is a 93,124-acre federally protected Wilderness Area in Nevada, managed by the Forest Service. The landscape is primitive backcountry terrain open to non-motorized recreation only. Hiking and backpacking are the primary ways to explore the area; visitors should expect true wilderness conditions with no roads, motorized vehicles, or mechanized travel permitted.
