Porcupine Lake Wilderness

Porcupine Lake Wilderness is a 4,306-acre federally protected Wilderness Area in northern Wisconsin, managed by the Forest Service. The landscape is primitive backcountry, accessible only on foot or by non-motorized means—no roads, motors, or mechanized travel are permitted. This is genuine wilderness where solitude and Leave No Trace ethics are essential to the experience.
