Pleasant View Ridge Wilderness

Pleasant View Ridge Wilderness is a 26,841-acre federally protected wilderness area in California managed by the Forest Service. This is true backcountry—no roads, motors, or mechanized travel are permitted. The landscape offers primitive hiking and backpacking in a non-motorized setting where solitude and self-reliance are central to the experience.
