Otay Mountain Wilderness Area

Otay Mountain Wilderness Area is a 17,099-acre federally protected wilderness in San Diego County, California, managed by the Bureau of Land Management. The landscape is primitive backcountry where motorized travel and mechanized equipment are prohibited—this is non-motorized, foot-traffic country designed for solitude and untracked exploration.
