Mount Logan (South) Wilderness Area

Mount Logan (South) Wilderness Area protects over 7,600 acres of primitive backcountry in Arizona under federal Wilderness designation. The area is managed by the Bureau of Land Management and offers visitors a chance to experience non-motorized solitude in a remote setting.

Hiking and backpacking are the primary ways to explore this Wilderness Area. As a federally protected zone, the landscape remains undeveloped — there are no roads, motorized vehicles, or mechanized travel of any kind permitted. Visitors must travel on foot and camp with Leave No Trace principles in mind.
