Kisatchie Hills Wilderness

Kisatchie Hills Wilderness is an 8,701-acre federally protected wilderness area in Louisiana managed by the Forest Service. This is true backcountry — no roads, motors, or mechanized travel are permitted. The landscape is primitive and non-motorized, offering visitors the chance to experience solitude and untracked terrain in a designated wilderness setting.
