Hummingbird Springs Wilderness Area

Hummingbird Springs Wilderness Area spans nearly 32,000 acres of federally protected backcountry in Arizona, managed by the Bureau of Land Management as a designated Wilderness. The landscape offers primitive terrain suited to foot travel and self-reliant exploration, with no roads, motorized vehicles, or mechanized travel permitted within its boundaries.

Hiking and backpacking are the primary ways to experience the area. Visitors should expect true wilderness conditions—no developed trails, facilities, or infrastructure.
