Dead Mountains Wilderness Area

Dead Mountains Wilderness Area encompasses over 54,000 acres of federally protected backcountry in California, managed by the Bureau of Land Management. This is primitive wilderness—no roads, motorized vehicles, or mechanized travel are permitted.
