Buzzards Peak Wilderness Area

Buzzards Peak Wilderness Area spans 12,330 acres in California's low desert region and is managed by the Bureau of Land Management as a federally protected Wilderness. The landscape is characterized by rugged, primitive terrain with minimal development—no roads, motorized vehicles, or mechanized travel are permitted within its boundaries.
