Twister Falls is a waterfall in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, managed by the National Park Service. It sits at about 8,074 feet, roughly 1.6 miles from the town of Three River Junction. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Old Faithful weather station show July highs around 76°F with lows near 39°F, and August is nearly as warm. That station sits a few hundred feet lower than the falls, so temperatures at the falls run a little cooler. The closest trail is the Ferris Creek Stock Crossing Trail, about 1.4 miles away.
