The canyon holds two sport routes, Texas Chainsaw at 5.10b and Hueco Rodeo at 5.10c. Both are rated in the 5.10 range, so the area works well for climbers looking for a short, focused outing on established sport climbs. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Laramie show July highs around 81°F with lows near 52°F, while winter highs stay in the low to mid 30s.
