The Kemmerer Area is a climbing area in Wyoming on Bureau of Land Management land within the Kemmerer Field Office. It sits in the Kemmerer Field Office, about 15 miles from the town of Evanston, and the land is managed by the Bureau of Land Management. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Evanston show July highs around 81°F with lows near 48°F, while winter highs stay around 33°F with lows near 11°F. The area has three routes, two of them sport and one trad. The grades range from 5.5 to 5.10b/c. The routes are 420 Send It (5.5, sport), UNKN (5.10a, trad) and 69 Grit (5.10b/c, sport).
