Highway 16 granite is a bouldering area in the Powder River Ranger District of Wyoming's Bighorn National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. It sits along the road corridor, with Pole Creek Cabin just over a mile away and Muddy Guard Cabin about 2 miles off. The climbing here is all bouldering, with four routes clustered around the boulders along the highway. The routes are rated on the V scale, ranging from V1-2 for Petty Assault to V7-8 for Bite the Hand That Feeds. Lecher and U K BAR sit at V3. The area is small, with only four routes, so it works well as a quick stop for a few problems on a drive through the district. Crazy Woman Cliff, a climbing area about 3 miles away, is the closest other crag. Lost Cabin Campground is about 3 miles off, and the Hesse Creek Cutoff and Hanson Sawmill hikes are each roughly 5 miles away.
