The Ghost Town is a sport climbing area in the Washakie Ranger District of Shoshone National Forest in Wyoming, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among two other climbing areas, Rising from the Ashes and The Dead Zone, both about 0.1 mile away, which makes it easy to pair with routes at the same crag. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical July averages from the nearby Atlantic City weather station run to highs around 78°F and lows near 43°F, while winter highs there stay in the 29 to 30°F range. That station sits about 375 feet below the crag, so temperatures on the rock may run slightly cooler. Two sport routes, Paranormal and The Specter, both rated 5.12c, make up the climbing here. For a longer outing, Indian Trail and Wolf Trail are hikes about 2 miles off, and Aspen Glade campground is about 4 miles away.
