Twin Lakes is a short, easy mountain biking route in Curt Gowdy State Park in Wyoming, managed by State Park and Recreation. The nearest town is Hecla, about 2 miles away. The route is an out-and-back of about 0.9 miles, with a total climb of about 125 feet. The steepest part comes early, at about 5%, and the trail starts and ends near 7,030 feet. It's a quick ride, and the low point of the route sits at about 6,986 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Hecla show July highs around 81°F with lows near 52°F, while winter highs stay in the upper 30s. Several other trails sit close by.
