Henderson Shortcut is an easy hike of about 1.9 miles in the Greys River Ranger District of Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back with a one-way climb of about 528 feet, from a low point of roughly 7,285 feet to a high of about 7,813 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 80°F with lows near 43°F, and July and August have the fewest wet days of the year. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the route run cooler. The trail is natural-surface and allows both horses and bikes.
