Goff Cr Trail is a hard hike in Wyoming's Shoshone National Forest, within the Wapiti Ranger District. The trail is an out-and-back of about 8.4 miles, with a total elevation gain of 2,480 feet, taking you from a low point of about 6,440 feet to a high of about 8,920 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is accessible and allows horses. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the Lake Yellowstone weather station, about 28 miles away, show July and August highs around 71°F with lows in the low 40s, while winter highs stay in the 20s. The trail is open year-round, and the parking area is named Fishhawk. Eagle Creek Campground sits about 2.6 miles away, and Libby Cr Trail is about a mile off. For paddling, Fishhawk Creek is about 7.6 miles away.
