Small Vehicle Campground is a Bureau of Land Management campground on the Pinedale Field Office in Wyoming, about 10 miles from the Boulder Rearing weather station. It sits on BLM land, and the nearest town is Pinedale. The most comfortable months for a visit are July and August, when typical highs reach about 81°F and lows sit near 41°F, based on averages from a nearby weather station. Winter is harsh, with January highs around 27°F and lows near -7°F. The campground is not reservable, so plan on arriving and finding a spot on site. Scab Creek Trail starts just 0.2 miles away, and Sage Trail is about 2 miles off. Boulder Lake Campground and Boulder Creek, a paddling route, are both roughly 4 miles away.
