Lake Alice Campground is a Forest Service site in the Kemmerer Ranger District of Wyoming's Bridger-Teton National Forest, about 1.5 miles east of Hobble Creek Campground. It has nine campsites and offers a base for fishing, hiking and horseback riding, with Lake Alice itself providing the setting for these outings. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Afton show July highs around 80°F with lows near 44°F, and July and August have the fewest wet days of the year. That station sits about 1,500 feet lower than the campground, so temperatures at Lake Alice run cooler. Visitors are strongly encouraged to practice clean camping techniques and to store food and toothpaste in a way that makes them unavailable to bears. Hobble Creek Campground is about 2 miles away, and the Lake Alice Trail and Coantag Ridge are both within 2 miles. Hobble Creek, a canoeing spot, is about 2.4 miles off.
