About

Mascoutin Valley State Trail is a 57-acre state park property in Wisconsin, about 1.6 miles from the town of Rosendale. The State Department of Natural Resources manages the land. Late spring through early fall is the most comfortable stretch to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Ripon put July highs around 80°F and September highs near 72°F, while winter brings highs in the 20s and regular snow days from December through February. Paddlers can find the West Branch Rock River about 8 miles away and the East Branch Fond Du Lac River about 9 miles out. Brooke Street Trail, a hike just under 10 miles away, rounds out the nearby options.
