Franklin Lake is a Forest Service campground in the Eagle River-Florence Ranger District of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest in northern Wisconsin. The land is managed by the Forest Service, and the site charges a fee for use. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 78°F with lows near 54°F, while winter highs stay in the 20s. The Franklin Nature hike starts less than half a mile away, and the Ninemile Creek Hwt hike is about 1.8 miles off.
