The campground overlooks Boot Lake, a 263-acre body of water that makes a natural center for time on the water. The lake's beach is a place to bask in the sun, and the lake itself offers fishing for walleye, northern pike, bass, musky and panfish. Anglers can also find trout in nearby streams, and the Wolf River, just beyond the lake, is a destination for fishing, kayaking, rafting and canoeing. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit.
