Sandcastle Campground is a private campground in Ohio, about 1.6 miles from the town of Morningside. The entrance sign states that it is for owners and guests only. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Marietta show May highs around 74°F and September highs around 79°F, with July and August peaking near 85°F. The Uplands Trail Outer Loop starts just 0.2 miles away, and the Kroger Wetlands Trail is about 1.3 miles off.
