Finney-Cumberland Road is a cross-country skiing route in Washington's Mt. Baker Ranger District, part of the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route is an out-and-back that climbs from about 768 feet to 1,315 feet over a total distance of 5.7 miles. The one-way elevation gain is 542 feet, and the route is rated easy. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Concrete show July and August highs in the mid-70s with only six or seven wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the low 40s and rain on 20 or more days. That station sits well below the route, so temperatures on the road run cooler. Finney Creek, a canoeing spot, is about 1.2 miles away, and Finney Peak 616 is a hike about 2.3 miles off. Gee Point Trail is about 3.4 miles away, and Iron Mountain Crag, a climbing area, is about 8.9 miles away.
