Cub Creek Road is a short, easy cross-country skiing route in the Methow Valley Ranger District of Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in northeastern Washington. It is a 0.56-mile out-and-back that rises about 20 feet from 2,631 feet to 2,650 feet, with the steepest stretch at 0.18 miles in, climbing roughly 6 percent. The Forest Service manages the land. Winter is the natural season for skiing here. Typical averages from the nearby Mazama weather station show January highs around 29°F and lows near 16°F, with March warming to about 46°F. That station sits well below the route, so temperatures on the trail run cooler. The Cub Creek Connector lies just 0.1 mile away, and Cougar Bait is about 1.9 miles off.
