Calendar Butte is a climbing area in Washington managed by the State Department of Natural Resources, about half a mile from Umbrella Rock and Bear Creek. It sits among a cluster of climbing and paddling spots, with the Centenial Trail and Marty's Mania Trail both under a mile away. The climbing here is all trad, with six routes ranging from 5.8 to 5.11b. The easiest is Excavator at 5.8, and the hardest is Medicine Wheel (direct var) at 5.11b. Grunge Pull and the Medicine Wheel (left variation) are both 5.10+. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit.
