Perimeter Trail is a short, low-lying mountain biking route in Washington's Millersylvania Memorial State Park, managed by State Park and Recreation. The trail is an out-and-back that covers about 2.7 miles, with a total elevation gain of just 10 feet, so it's a gentle ride that starts and ends at nearly the same level. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Olympia show July and August highs around 78°F with only about five wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-40s and rain on roughly 20 days a month. Several other trails sit close by. Fitness Trail is about 0.3 miles away, and Orchard Way and Fen Way Boardwalk are each about 0.4 miles off. For a change of pace, the Maple Hollow Loop hike is about 0.8 miles away.
