Loki Trail is a mountain biking route in Washington, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. It is an out-and-back ride of about 5.4 miles, with a one-way climb of about 474 feet from a starting elevation of roughly 1,374 feet to a high point of about 1,462 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 1.8 miles in, where the grade reaches 25 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Elma show July and August highs around 78 to 80°F with only six to seven wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the upper 40s and rain on most days. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the route run cooler. Several other mountain biking routes start close by, including North Rim #2 about 0.3 miles away and North Rim #1 about 0.4 miles away. The BioChar Climbing Trail is about 1.2 miles off for hikers, and North Fork Porter Creek offers canoeing about 3.2 miles away.
