Divide Trail North is a short, out-and-back mountain biking route in Washington, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. The trail is about 1.5 miles long, with a low point of 1,655 feet and a high of 1,749 feet, so the one-way climb is about 87 feet. It makes an easy addition to a day spent exploring the surrounding network of mountain biking trails. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Olympia show July and August highs around 78°F with only about five wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-40s and rain on roughly 20 days a month. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the route run cooler. Several other mountain biking routes lie within a mile, including Rock Candy West, B-7700 and North Rim #1. For paddling, North Fork Porter Creek is about 4.4 miles away.
