Ocean Lake Way Beach Access is a public ocean beach on the Washington coast, about 1.7 miles from the town of Ocean Shores. It offers a straightforward way onto the sand and surf, and swimming is allowed here. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. At a nearby weather station, typical July and August highs reach the upper 60s, with only about seven wet days a month, compared with more than 20 in the depths of winter. There is no fee to use the beach access. For a short walk close by, Weatherwax Trail is about a mile away. Farther afield, Bottle Beach Interpretive Trail and Shifting Sands Natural Trail are both within roughly 10 miles.
