The Choss Climbing Park sits about 2 miles from Spring Glen, Utah, right next to the Emigration Canyon climbing area. It's a small, compact climbing spot with five sport routes, all of which Pete Van Slooten pioneered. The routes run from about 5.8+ up to 5.10a, so climbers looking for a day of sport climbing on the same crag can find a range of options in one place. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Salt Lake City show May highs around 73°F with lows near 46°F, and September highs around 80°F with lows near 53°F. July is the warmest month, with highs near 92°F. The closest neighbors are Emigration Canyon and Wagner Spring Trail, both under a mile away, along with the Bonneville Shoreline Trail's Mount Wire Section. For more climbing, Mt. Van Cott is about 2 miles off.
