Scout Lake is a climbing area in the High Uintas Wilderness, within the Roosevelt Ranger District of Ashley National Forest in Utah. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits inside designated wilderness. The climbing here is a mix of trad and sport routes, with 11 routes in total. The YDS grades run from 5.7 up to 5.11b/c, and the median is 5.10b. Among the named routes are Gone With the Wind (5.7, trad), Guillotine (5.10b, sport) and Shinangwav (5.11b/c, trad). Two other climbing areas, Castle Lake and Picturesque Wall, are each about 0.1 mile away. The Nahguch Pass hike is about 0.3 mile off, and Red Castle Lake, a fishing spot, is about 3.5 miles away.
