Scarface is a climbing area on Bureau of Land Management land within the Monticello Field Office in Utah. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, so it works well as one stop in a day of exploring the surrounding crags. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Canyonlands-The Needles show May highs around 77°F and October highs around 70°F, while July averages about 95°F and January highs sit near 42°F. That station sits roughly 900 feet lower than the climbing area, so temperatures here run a bit cooler. Power Wall is about half a mile away, and Pods Wall and the Hurt Locker Area are each within a mile. For a change from climbing, Donnelly Canyon Trail is about 2 miles off.
