Rock Worship is a climbing area in Utah's Canaan Mountain Wilderness, within the Bureau of Land Management's St. George Field Office. It sits in the wilderness, so the land is managed by the BLM rather than a national forest or state agency. The climbing here is a mix of trad and sport routes, with five routes in total. Four are trad, and one is sport. Grades run from 5.10 to 5.12, with the hardest route, Polydigitorum, at 5.12. Alt Tower Traverse is the sport route at 5.10, and C-Section is a trad route at 5.10. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Colorado City, Arizona, show May highs around 78°F and October highs around 72°F, while July highs reach about 95°F. That station sits roughly 1,100 feet below the area, so temperatures on the rock run cooler. Several other destinations are close by. The Colorado City Area climbing area is about 2.7 miles away, and the Water Canyon Trail and Canaan Mountain Trail are both within about 3 miles.
