Pack Rat Boulder is a climbing area on State Trust Lands Tonaquint Block in southern Utah, about 2.7 miles from the town of Atkinville. The land is managed by the State Land Board. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in St. George show April highs around 75°F and October highs around 79°F, while July averages about 102°F. Several other climbing areas sit right next to Pack Rat Boulder, including Duality, Sentinel Boulder and Shot Hole Boulder, each about 0.1 mile away. For a change of pace, the Zen Trail mountain bike route is about 0.3 mile off.
