Middle Earth Bouldering is a bouldering area in the Logan Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in northern Utah. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits among several other climbing spots. Heaven's Forge and Fallen Angel Bouldering are each about 0.1 mile away, and Hidden Wall is just as close. That cluster of bouldering areas makes the site a compact, easy-to-explore stop. The climbing here is bouldering only, and the grade range spans from V2 to V11-. The routes include Isengard (V2), My Precious (V6) and Smaug (V11-). The boulders are close together, so the area works well for a short session of climbing among a few different problems. For a base, Blacksmith Fork Guard Station is about a mile away, and Friendship Campground is roughly 1.5 miles off. Paddlers can reach Blacksmith Fork, about 2.3 miles away, and the Leatham Hollow hike is about 1.1 miles away.
