Mars is a climbing area on Bureau of Land Management land within the Moab Field Office in Utah, about 2 miles from the town of Moab. Spring and fall bring the most comfortable temperatures. Typical averages from the nearby Moab weather station run to highs around 72°F in April and 74°F in October, while July averages near 99°F and January highs sit around 44°F. Several climbing areas lie right next door. The Scar is about 0.1 mile away, Wall Street North and King's Hand are each about 0.3 mile off, and the Slickrock Bike Trail is about 0.6 mile away. For overnight stays, King's Bottom Campground is about a mile out.
