Hard Rock is a climbing area in the Pleasant Grove Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among several other climbing spots and outdoor destinations, so it works well as a base for a day or longer in the area. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Timpanogos Cave, about 2 miles away, run to highs around 66°F in May and 76°F in September, with July the warmest month at about 88°F. White Wave Wall and Escape Buttress are both climbing areas about 0.1 mile away, and the Little Mill Winter mountain biking route is just as close. For an overnight stay, Timpooneke Campground is about 2 miles off.
