Wind Cave is a mountain biking route in the Logan Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in northern Utah, managed by the Forest Service. The climb is about 1.9 miles long, rising from roughly 5,047 feet to about 6,065 feet for a total gain of 1,002 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Logan show July highs around 88°F with lows near 60°F, and June and September are milder, with highs in the upper 70s. That station sits well below the route, so expect cooler temperatures on the higher part of the climb. Wind Cave Way, a hike, starts just 0.1 mile away, and the Logan Canyon climbing area is 0.2 mile off. Guinavah-Malibu Campground and the Riverside Nature mountain biking route are both about half a mile away.
