Logan Canyon Gateway Trail is a short mountain biking route in the Logan Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in northern Utah, about half a mile from the town of Logan. The Forest Service manages the land. The trail is a short climb of about 0.6 miles, rising roughly 70 feet from a low point of about 4,690 feet to a high of about 4,780 feet. It makes an easy addition to a day spent exploring the surrounding area. For comfortable weather, late spring and early fall are the best bets. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 67°F and September highs around 76°F, while July and August average in the upper 80s. Several other outings sit close by. The Highline hike and the River Trail are both within a quarter mile, and the Date Wall climbing area is about 0.2 miles away. Spring Hollow Campground, about 3.3 miles off, offers a place to stay overnight.
