Saltwash Trail is a mountain biking route in Utah, about 4.3 miles from the nearest town. It lies within The State of Utah Forrest, Fire and State Lands; Sovereign Lands 8, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. The trail is an out-and-back, with a total length of about 8.6 miles and a one-way climb of about 664 feet, from a low point of about 4,414 feet to a high of about 4,815 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 78°F and October highs around 68°F, while July averages about 96°F. The Boondocks Trail and the Boondocks mountain biking route both start about 0.1 mile away. Contributors Trail is about 0.3 mile off.
