East Fork Fire Interpretive is a short, low-elevation mountain biking ride in Utah's Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, within the Evanston-Mountain View Ranger District. The route is about 0.22 miles long, with a total gain of just 25 feet, so it's a quick stop for riders exploring this part of the forest. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from the nearby Moon Lake weather station run from highs around 69°F in June to about 77°F in July and August, with lows in the upper 40s. That station sits roughly 1,000 feet below the route, so temperatures on the ride itself run a little cooler. The East Fork Bear River hike starts just 0.1 mile away, and the Bear River-Smith Fork mountain biking route is about 0.6 mile off. For camping, Wolverine ATV Trailhead/Campground and Christmas Meadows are both a little over 3 miles away.
