The route rises from about 3,444 feet to about 4,065 feet over roughly 4 miles, with a total elevation gain of 596 feet. It sits among a cluster of other mountain biking trails in the area. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in St. George show April highs around 75°F and October highs near 79°F. That station sits well below the route, so temperatures on the climb run cooler. Summer is hot, with July highs averaging about 102°F.
