The Uinta Highline Trail is an expert-level out-and-back hike in the Vernal Ranger District of Ashley National Forest in Utah, managed by the Forest Service. The route is about 33 miles long, with a one-way elevation gain of 2,951 feet, and it climbs from a low point of about 9,950 feet to a high of about 11,680 feet. The trail starts close to several other routes. West Fork - Whiterocks Road is about 0.2 miles away, and the Highline Spur C Trail and Wigwam-Papoose Lakes are within a mile. Reader Basin is about 1.3 miles off.
