Noah's Ark Trail is an easy hike of about 2.6 miles in the Cedar City Ranger District of Dixie National Forest in southern Utah, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back with a one-way climb of about 1,100 feet, starting at roughly 6,900 feet and reaching about 8,050 feet at the high point. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Cedar City show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 77°F, with July the warmest month at about 85°F. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the route run cooler. Bikes are allowed on the natural-surface trail. Vermillion Castle Trail starts just 0.2 miles away, and Henderson Hill Trail is about 1.6 miles off. For an overnight stay, Yankee Meadow Campground is about 2.6 miles away, and the climbing at Parowan Canyon is about 2.8 miles away.
