Mill Hollow is an easy out-and-back hike on the natural-surface trail in the Logan Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in northern Utah, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is about 2.9 miles long, with a one-way climb of roughly 1,000 feet, from a low point of about 5,000 feet to a high of about 6,000 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 88°F and lows near 60°F, while September cools to highs around 76°F with fewer wet days than spring. Bikes and horses are both allowed on the trail. Spring Hollow Campground sits about 0.4 miles away, and the Promised Land climbing area is about the same distance off. Logan Canyon and Guinavah-Malibu Campground are each within about a mile and a half.
