Mid-Mountain Trail is an easy out-and-back hike in Utah, about 1.8 miles from Park City. The trail is roughly 2.9 miles long, rising about 288 feet from a low point of 8,107 feet to a high of 8,426 feet. That makes it a short, gentle climb that works well as a quick outing close to town. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical July averages from a nearby weather station run to a high of 72°F and a low of 47°F, while winter highs stay around 30°F with lows near 11°F. The trail sits beside mountain biking routes, with Dog Pound and Lilas Liar both about 0.1 mile away. Empire Pass, a climbing area, is 1.4 miles off. Jordanelle State Park McHenry Campground is 3 miles away.
