Lower Little Hole is a moderate hike in the Flaming Gorge Ranger District of Ashley National Forest in Utah, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is about 5 miles long, with a one-way climb of about 260 feet from a low point of roughly 5,520 feet to a high of about 5,788 feet. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from the Flaming Gorge weather station, about 5 miles away, show May highs near 67°F and September highs near 75°F, while July averages around 87°F and winter brings highs in the mid-30s and a few snowy days each month. Bikes are allowed on the natural-surface trail, and the Little Hole Trail and Little Hole Complex both start about 0.1 mile away. Green River Float-in Campsites are also about 0.1 mile off. Dripping Springs Campground lies about 2.4 miles away.
