Junction to City Creek is an easy hike of about 2.8 miles in the Beaver Ranger District of Fishlake National Forest in Utah, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back with a one-way climb of about 407 feet, starting at roughly 6,875 feet and reaching about 7,295 feet at the high point. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 80°F with lows near 52°F, while winter brings highs in the mid-30s and regular snow days from December through February. Bikes are allowed on the natural-surface trail. City Creek Campground sits about 1.7 miles away, and the Doc Spring hike is about 0.4 miles off. The South Fork of City Creek and Big Flat Dispersed Camping are both within about 5 miles.
